Geneva "Marie" Quinton was born on June 17th, 1929 in Lowrey, OK. The daughter of Harvy Lee and Ruby Sue (Hutchins) Davis-Fuller, she grew up in the household with her brother, William Luther Davis. While growing up in Lowrey, she appreciated the people that made up her community. After school, she moved to Oklahoma City and began working at the Pepsi Bottling Company. From there it was onto Sun Valley, CA, where she began raising her family and developed a deep love for the ocean waves that washed against the shore day in and day out. She always had at least two jobs, and she devoted all of her spare time to the six people she adored most in the world, her children, Reta Sue, Lee David, Roger Mack, Billy Jack, Debbie Kaye and Darla June. The family returned to the Tahlequah Community in 1981, and Marie worked at Northeastern State University as a cashier. She loved the students and they loved her constant smile and friendly hello. She eventually assumed ownership of a business in town, and "Marie's TeePee" was born! It was a friendly little bar on the corner of Downing and Cedar, and her patrons were treated like family, right down to homemade food on Thursday Nights. When she wasn't at work, she was sewing, making dresses, working in her flower beds, and going out to visit friends at the American Legion Auxiliary. Summertime was spent enjoying a leisurely float down the Illinois River, or cooking for her family. She made the best stir-fry, lasagna, steak burritos, and her Sunday roast beef and gravy was not to be missed! She loved a good fish fry or an afternoon spent with her friends at the casino. Later in her working career, she went to work at Walmart where she eventually retired just weeks before her 90th birthday. She loved greeting people with her signature smile and cheerful, happy voice that let you know she was really glad to see you there. Her sense of humor was unmatched, she was witty and quick with a comeback. Her generosity knew no bounds and she would help anyone that needed her. She was incredibly proud of and thought the world of her grandkids and great grandchildren, who fondly referred to her as "Nannie", "Nan" or "Grandma". Her health began to fade, but not her smile or strength. She moved to Ft. Gibson to live with her daughter Reta and her husband Fred. She remained with her family until she passed from this life on Friday, January 20th, 2023 surrounded by those that loved her. She was 93 years old and leaves behind a wonderful legacy. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, William Landon and Sarah (Dockery) Hutchins, her mother and father, her beloved son, Roger Mack Quinton, her brother, William Luther Davis and husband,Nathanuel "Buddy" Mack Quinton.
