She and her husband had been at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Ollie Schwarzlose , for the past three months. Mrs. Green underwent surgery for cancer three years ago.
Mrs. Green was a housewife and had lived in Fairfield many years.
Funeral rites will be held at 2 p.m. Friday from the Johnson Funeral Home, with Rev. Allen Hurt officiating. Interment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Johnson Chapel from 1 p.m. to the funeral hour Friday.
She was born in Wayne County Feb. 11, 1919, the daughter of Warren and Bessie Reeves Locke.
In 1935 she was married to Herb Green.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Bob and Ray Green, both of Avon Park, Fla.; and Roy of Centralia; four daughters, Maxine Wilkerson of Sandoval; Mary Hutcheson, of Fairfield; Irene Friend of Salem; and Ollie Schwartzlose of Winnebago; two sisters, Mildred Simms of Rockford; and Ruth Haught of Oklahoma; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
