He was born on July 4, 1940, in Sedalia, Missouri, the son of Lloyd Ramie and Mary K. Weathers.
Larry was raised in Sedalia. He joined the Air Force after graduation. When Larry was stationed at Mather Air Force Base in Ca, he met his wife, and they married. He worked at the Army Depot where he retired. Larry then went to work for the Department of Justice for 10 years and officially retired.
Survivors include his spouse of 61 years, JoAnn M. Weathers, his sons, Larry G. Weathers Jr. (Lina), and Matthew S. Weathers (Teresa) and his daughter, Marie D. Weathers all from Sacramento, his grandchildren, Torin, Erica, Andrea, Daniel, Lance, Annie, Lily, Mason, and Luke, sisters, Mary Lou Gallagher, Theresa Lowell, Rama Lee Monsees, and his brother, Terry Weathers, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased are his parents, brothers Dean Weathers and Jerry Weathers.
Funeral Services will be held at St. Rose's 5961 Franklin Blvd. in Sacramento, Rosary at 10:30 a.m. and Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 30, 2023.
Burial will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery 6509 Fruitridge Blvd. Sacramento, following mass at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2023.
