Mrs. Charles Griffiths, 78, of 26 Bedford St., Forty Fort, was found dead last night at 9 at her home. Dr. Joseph W. Ehrhart, deputy coroner, attributed death to a heart attack.
Born in Duryea, the former Elsie Adams, she resided in Forty Fort 70 years. She attended Ebenezer Baptist Church, Plymouth.
Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Louise Hammonds, Philadelphia; half-brother, Richard Jenkins, Wilmington, Del.
Funeral service will be held at Hugh B. Hughes and Son Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, Wednesday at 11 a. m. Rev. E. D. Hettinger will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery, Carverton.
