On Mar. 4, 1773 in Pomfret, Deborah m. as his 1st wife, Dr. Joseph Baker, s. of Dea. Samuel Baker and Prudence Jenkins, b. Dec. 17, 1748 in Windham, Conn. They had one recorded child, s. Elisha, who died in infancy.
