Amos Lasher, aged 57, for several years weight master at the Third Ward Scales, and a well-known carpenter, died at his home, 1131 Orr Ave. Monday morning at six o'clock after a lingering illness. Deceased was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church and was held in high esteem by friends. Mr. Lasher is survived by his wife, and the following children; Mrs. P. H. Amick, Cleveland, Mrs. Roscoe Wolfe, Kittanning, Mrs. H. L. Hutchinson, Arnold Pa., Robert D. Lasher, Canton, Ohio, T. A. Lasher, Apollo Pa, Mrs. Lewis Levine, Chicago, Illinois, Roy Lasher at home, Burial Wednesday at St. Marks Lutheran Church, Adrian.

The funeral of Amos Lasher will take place Wednesday afternoon. Services will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church of near Montgomeryville at 2:30 o'clock. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Amos Fair Lasher, aged 56 years, 8 months and 1 day passed away on Monday, July 29th 1929 at six o'clock in the morning in Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania after a lingering illness. Mr. Lasher a recently retired weight master of Kittanning Borough was born November 28th 1872 in Pennsylvania the son of Daniel Lasher and Catherine Frick. Funeral arrangements were in the care of undertaker Clarence R. Snyder of Cowansville. Burial was made on Wednesday, July 31, 1929 in the Saint Mark's Lutheran Cemetery, in Adrian, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. Information was provided by A. Roy Lasher.
