Tess, Donald F.

Donald F. Tess, age 82, of 5827 Pleasantview Lane, Two Rivers, died Wednesday morning, September 5, 2012, at The Hamilton Care Center in Two Rivers, after a courageous battle with Parkinsons Disease.

Don was born August 1, 1930, in Two Rivers, son of the late William and Julia (Lodel) Tess. He graduated from Kewaunee High School with the class of 1948. On September 25, 1954, he married the former Lucille Bohman at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Mishicot. Don loved animals, farming, woodworking, playing cards and dancing. He especially loved his family. Don started his career at Hamilton Industries, and finished his career at Eggers after 25 years.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Tess, Two Rivers, children: daughter-in-law, Barbara Tess, Sheboygan; Joan and Craig Schultz, Green Bay; Tom and Jan Tess, Fond du Lac; Tim and Caroline Tess, Elmhurst, IL; Kathy and Mark Berge, Reedsville; Wayne and Jean Tess, Manitowoc; Karen and Jeff Hendries, Green Bay; Jane and Steven Stoltenow, Green Bay; Donna and Michael Weier, Two Rivers; grandchildren: Andrew (Angela) Tess, Michael (Alyssa) Tess, Samantha Schultz and fiancee Jeffery Price, Jonathan and Joanna Tess, Nicholas, Nathan, Alex Tess, Christine Schwaegler, Cheri (Ben) Hendricks, David Koch and special friend Lindsay Seiler, Andrew Tess and special friend, Sissy Garcia, Lindsey and Austin Tess, Eric and Ian Hendries, Jennifer (Marc) Effinger, Mathew Stoltenow, Joshua Tess, Jessica Stanzel (Daniel Waack); six great grandchildren and three on the way: Carter, Brady, Madeline, Grace, Jamaris, and Melanie; and one sister: Sister Janet Tess, Silver Lake Convent.

He was preceded in death by his son, Steven; a daughter, Kristina; and a grandson, Daniel, three brothers: Gordon, Robert, Howard; and a sister, Edna Spevacek.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 10, 2012, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church in Two Rivers. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be Rev. Tom Reynebeau. Entombment will be at Calvary Mausoleum, Manitowoc, later on Monday.

The family will greet relatives and friends on Sunday, September 9, 2012, from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Klein & Stangel Funeral Home, Two Rivers. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m.

Visitation will continue on Monday from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, Two Rivers.
