Gretchen A. Moffatt, age 50, of 1110 N. 8th St., Manitowoc, died on Sunday morning, April 12, 2009, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
She was born Sept. 25, 1958, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Robert and Shirley (Hopkins) Krieser. Gretchen was a graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School, Class of 1976. She was employed for 23 years with Weyerheuser Paper Company of Manitowoc. Gretchen was a member of the Manitowoc Fish & Game Association and the Manitowoc Gun Club.
Survivors include a special friend: Roland (Rollie) Polzin, Manitowoc; a sister and brother-in-law: Ellen and Kenneth Seal Jr., Manitowoc; four brothers and sisters-in-law: August and Patricia Krieser, Manitowoc, Richard and Dona Krieser, Manitowoc, Gary and Linda Krieser, Michigan, Keith and Margaret Krieser, Two Rivers; and special friends: Joyce and Kevin, Manitowoc. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.
Private family services will be held. Gretchen will be cremated and laid to rest at Knollwood Memorial Gardens, town of Kossuth.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors and staff at Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic and also the staff at the Oncology Department at Aurora Medical Center and to Jim at Aurora Hospice.
Memorials would be appreciated to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic.
