T. Sgt. Patrick A. Norcop Jr., 44 died Wednesday at Lackland Air Force Base, Tex. He Had been flown there from Luke AFB to undergo heart surgery.
Sgt. Norcop was born in Chihuahua City, Mexico, and had lived in Arizona since 1935. He was a 21-year veteran with the Air Force and saw action in both World War II and the Korean conflict.
A quality control inspector at Luke, he made his home at 3223 Comanche Drive, Glendale.
He is survived by his wife Pauline; a son, Terry; three daughters, Jeannette and Cheryl Ann of Glendale and Pamela Sue of Phoenix, and his mother, Mrs. Lena A. Thompson of Phoenix.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow from Brazill-Whitney Funeral Home, 5754 W. Glen Drive, Glendale, with Chaplain Paul H. Pike officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m. today.
