Ethel E. Oestreich, age 94, a resident of Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc, was called to her Eternal Rest on Wednesday afternoon, April 6, 2011, at the center.

Ethel was born Sept. 17, 1916, in Eagle River, a daughter of the late Jeffrey and Emma (Hornlein) Boucher. On Nov. 4, 1939, she married Clarence J. Oestreich at Mt. Olive Church, Suring, the Rev. H. Paul Westmeyer officiated. Clarence preceded her in death on Feb. 22, 1997. Ethel was an active member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Two Rivers.

Survivors include a daughter: Cherie and her husband, Wade Woodard of Jasper, Ala.; a son: Allan Oestreich of Shorewood; two grandsons: Kelly Goeman and his wife, Cyndie, and their children: Peyton, Parker and Piper of Canton, Ga. and Casey Goeman and his wife, Terri, and their daughter: Amelia of Helena, Ala.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels, 1506 18th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. David Arndt with burial to follow in Knollwood Memorial Gardens, Highway 310, Manitowoc.

Friends may call at Deja & Martin Funeral Chapels on Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.

Memorials may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Two Rivers.

Ethel truly was a religious woman, may she rest in the house of the Lord.
