Larry H. Tetzlaff, age 48, of 12020 Cherney Road, Mishicot, died accidently Saturday, Jan. 22, 2005 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 26, 2005 at Emanuel United Methodist Church in Two Rivers, with the Reverend Sonia Alvarado officiating, with burial of his cremated remains in the Knollwood Memorial Park Cemetery, Hwy. 310, Manitowoc.

Larry was born Oct. 15, 1956, in Mishicot to the late Lester H. and Anita Boje Tetzlaff, Sr., and has been a lifelong resident. He attended the Mishicot High School, and later enlisted in the United States Navy. He was employed as a job foreman for Allstates Rigging of Manitowoc. Larry married the former Kathy Kuchenbecker, Jan. 2, 1998 in Mishicot. He was a member of the Kettle Range Snowriders, where he served as Treasurer. He was also a member of the Francis Creek Sportsmans Club, and the Manitowoc County Alliance Association. He enjoyed the annual family camping trips, snowmobiling, and being in the outdoors. He also enjoyed four-wheeling, and driving on many country roads. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and being with his many friends. Christmas was his favorite time of year.

Survivors include his wife Kathy; his children, Tara Tetzlaff, of Two Rivers, Nathan Tetzlaff, of Two Rivers; and his step-daughter and her husband, Sarah and Jeremy Kane, of Manitowoc; five grandchildren, Vanessa, Liah, Riyan, Caynen, and Neo; along with two sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara and Mike Gray, of Two Rivers, Sandi and Archie Moore, of Chicago. He is further survived by his mother-in-law, Lois Kuckenbecker, of Manitowoc; his sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law, Janice Tetzlaff, of Mishicot, Donald Hagenow, of Mishicot, Jeff (Char) Kuckenbecker, of Madison, Sharon (Frank) Stevens, of Florida, Becky (Steve) Zimmer, of Cleveland, Shannon (Gardy) Weber, of Manitowoc, Wendy (Gerry) Bogenschuetz, of Sheboygan; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Lester T. Tetzlaff Jr.; one sister, Darlene Hagenow; one grandson, Landon; and his father-in-law, Robert Kuckenbecker.

Relatives and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home in Mishicot. Visitation will continue after 10 a.m. on Wednesday at Emanuel United Methodist Church 1218 Madison St., in Two Rivers, until the time of service at 11 a.m.

A memorial fund has been established for the Kettle Range Snowriders.
