Childersburg, AL - Funeral service for Wayne Gandy, 71, will be Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Sylacauga First Assembly of God with Rev. Brian Jones officiating.
Mr. Gandy died Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Grandview Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Ruth Gandy, sister, Dosie Dodd, brother-in-law, Buddy Black, and nephew, Danny Gandy.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Anita Gandy of Childersburg; daughter, Tawnya (Roy) Martin of Jasper; two grandchildren, Jeb Martin, Emma Martin; two sisters, Nell Black of Trussville, Faith (Billy Joe) Stagner of Childersburg; brother, John Gandy of Clanton; four nieces, Sabrina (Buddy) Wilks of Trussville, Aletha Dodd of Fayette, Candace (Clyde) Barnette of Jemison, Michelle Dodd of Hoover; four nephews, BJ (Denese) Stagner of Wales, UK, Johnny (Sherry) Gandy of Clanton, Chris (Debbie) Dodd of Clanton, David (Pam) Black of Trussville; and a host of other loved nieces, nephews and family.
Visitation will be Thursday, December 17, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Sylacauga First Assembly of God.
Pallbearers will be CJ Knight, Jimmy Johnson, Shane McKee, Verne Ogle, Darius Stagner and Jeb Martin.
