Frederick Raymond Pieart, 81, died Saturday, January 28, 2023 at his home in Des Moines.
Visitation will be 10 am Friday, February 3rd at Iles Grandview Park Funeral Home where funeral services will begin at 11 am Friday. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Fred was born April 16, 1941 in Des Moines to Earl and Beulah (Hannawalt) Pieart.
He grew up in Colfax and moved to Des Moines after marring Pat Hutchinson in 1961.
Fred worked for the Rock Island Railroad for 15 years, and then for Frye Copy Systems for 15 years before retiring in 1991.
Fred enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time with his family.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: James, Jerald, John Pieart and Barbara Brown.
