Joan E. Belford, (Lewandowski), Age 83, Went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 28, 2023 at her residence in the Carillon Community of Plainfield. Joan was an active resident for the past 23 years, and formerly resided in the City of Darien. Joan's passion in life was being a Realtor, she loved to travel, an avid reader and loved spending time with her grand children and great grandchildren. Joan loved to crochet and donated her creations to several groups. Joan spent a majority of her life being socially active with many friends and enjoyed their dinner gatherings and playing cards.
Joan is preceded in death by her husband Robert Belford, parents Casimir (Stella) Lewandowski, her sister Marilyn Zoetvelt, and her daughter Laura Donnelly.
Interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
