Clinton C. Herrmann
Clinton C. Herrmann, 74, of Eden, died on Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2006, at Kathy Hospice, West Bend.
He was born on Sept. 8, 1931, in Colby, the son of Oscar and Bertha Ebert Herrmann.
On Sept. 3, 1950, he married Norma Erbsen at Shannon, Ill.
Clint farmed in his early years and then went into sales as manager for Stanley Home Products and later was an insurance agent. He was also involved in family businesses, Eden Meat Market, Eden Corner Express, and Eden Cafe and Catering.
Clint was a member of Tabor United Methodist Church and a former member of Eden Lions Club and West Bend Kiwanis. Being active in community activities and enjoying their lake property in Wild Rose with family and friends were highlights of his life.
Survivors include his wife Norma; his children, Calvin (Cindy) of Eden, Cindy (Chuck) Bunkelmann of West Bend, Cathy (Darrel) Duehring of Eden; his grandchildren, Chris (Sara) and Mike Herrmann, Sarah and Matthew (Kristin) Bunkelmann, Dustin (Tina) and Jeff (Jessica) Duehring; his great-grandchildren, Caden, Mercedes, Cora, and Quintin; his brother, Edward of Colby; his sister, Irene (Royal) Awe of Marshfield; his sister-in-law, Ardath (Kenneth) Moll of Shannon, Ill; other relatives; and friends.
His parents; a sister, Ruth; and a brother, Kenneth preceded him in death.
Services: Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, 2006, at Tabor United Methodist Church in Eden. The Rev. Nancy Green will officiate, and cremation will follow.
Visitation: Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 31, 2006, at Twohig Funeral Home in Fond du Lac, and from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at Tabor United Methodist Church, Eden.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be used for cancer research and Eden community projects.
Twohig Funeral Home of Fond du Lac is serving the family.
