LOA — Mrs. Alberta Oldroyd, 74, Loa, died Dec. 18 in a Richfield hospital after a lingering illness.
She was born Dec 3. 1895, Monroe, to George W. and Lydia Hunt Okerlund. She was married to Edwin Oldroyd Aug. 21, 1918, Salt Lake City LDS Temple. She served an LDS mission in the Central States. She was past president of the Relief Society and Primary in Loa Ward.
Survivors: husband, son, daughters, George K., Mrs. Clifton (Theda) Peterson, Mrs. Duane (Ruth) Hallows, all Loa; 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, Dalton, Clare, Melvin, all Loa; Mrs. William (Geraleen) Martin, Jonesburg, Mo.; Mrs. Richard (Helen) Christensen, Bountiful.
Funeral services were held Monday in the Loa Ward chapel with Bishop George K. Oldroyd officiating.
Burial was in the Loa Cemetry by Springer Mortuary, Richfield.
