Succumbs in Boise
Henry Harvey Haines, 68, a rancher and cattleman, died at 6:25 a.m. Friday at his residence on South Philippi street.
He was born Sept. 14, 1883, at Haines, Ore., and lived at Kuna for 11 years before moving to Boise 10 years ago. He was engaged in the heavy duty construction business until 1938, when he entered farming and cattle raising in Garden Valley. Mr. Haines was a member of the LDS church.
Surviving are his wife, LaVerne N. Haines, Boise; a daughter, Mrs. Gary Rogde, Boise; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Higgins, Cambridge, and three grandchildren.
Services art to be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Third Ward LDS chapel with Bishop Keith Ricks officiating. Interment will be at Cloverdale with Relyea chapel in charge.
