Estimable East Utica Woman Died Suddenly Last Evening
Elizabeth Hagen widow of Peter J. Donohoe died very suddenly last evening. at her home 18 Humbert avenue, the cause of death being cerebral hemorrhage. Mrs. Donohoe had been in her usual state of health and had performed her household duties yesterday. She was stricken at ?:?? o'clock and lived about four hours Dr. H. H. Lenahan was called immediately but was unable to render much assistance.
The deceased was a lifelong resident of Utica . She was a member of St. Agnes's Church and was(unreadable) Division No. 4 Ladies Auxiliary , A. O. H. She was married in St. Patrick's Church in 1886 and was a member of that society until she moved with her family to East Utica.
Mrs. Donohoe possessed a kindly disposition. A particularly sad feature connected with her death is that a son , Mark A. Donohoe , died July 30. She is survived by four sons, Thomas F. , Hugh A., and Raymond P. Donohoe of this city and Brother Columban of La Falle Academy , New York City. She leaves one sister Mrs. John (unreadable) Newburgh.
