ROCK HILL- Mrs. Betty Bailes Ethridge, 85, of 1031 Steele St. died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006 at Piedmont Medical Center.
A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Monday at Whitesell Funeral Home Chapel.
A native of York, Mrs. Ethridge was a daughter of the late James Bailes and Carrie Bailes. She was retired from Pilgrims Inn and was a past employee of the Central News Stand. She was of the Baptist faith. She was the widow of Grant Ethridge.
Surviving are her daughter, Deborah Soit of Rock Hill; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Buddy A. Ivey and a daughter Betty Jean Springs.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home after the service.
