Robert Jeeves Obituary
Robert James Jeeves, devoted husband, and father, 93, of Riverhaven in Homossasa, Florida passed away January 31, 2023.
He was born September 17, 1929, in N. Tonawanda, New York to the late Archie and Florence Jeeves. He moved to Citrus County in 1989 from Jamestown, New York where he retired from the insurance business after 30 years.
He served as President of the Chautauqua Life Underwriters of New York and was a member of the Million Dollar Round Table. As a certified life underwriter he taught courses at the Jamestown Community College and served on the local planning board.
He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He was past President of the Riverhaven Property Owners Association and served on the Homassasa Special Water District Board as commissioner. He was a volunteer for the Citrus County Sheriff's Department and a graduate of the Sheriff's Academy. He served as a volunteer at the Homosassa police sub-station. He also served as secretary for the Homosassa River Alliance for over ten years.
He is preceded in death by his son Kurt Robert Jeeves and a daughter, Roxann Jo Jeeves and her son, Kristopher Robin.
Services with full military honors will be held Friday February 10th 2023 11:00am at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Arrangements are under the direction of Strickland Funeral Home, Crystal River.
