Stephen "Todd" Barksdale, 55, of Ringgold, passed away quietly at his home on Sunday, January 22, 2023. He was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on April 7, 1967 and had lived in the Chattanooga and North Georgia areas for most of his life. He was a member of Harvest Deaf Ministries and was very active in the Deaf Community. He was employed with Hamilton Place Mall for more than 10 years in the Maintenance Department and was an avid Tennessee Vols Fan. He had a wonderful sense of humor and never met a stranger. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lewis Barksdale.
Survivors include his mother, Linda "Nema" Fisher; children and spouses, Sarah & (Travis) Zinna, Kyle & (Kenzie) Barksdale and Matthew Barksdale; sisters & brothers-in-law, Tisa & (Mike) Treece and Dana & (Howie) Scarboro; grandchildren, Parker Zinna and Lilli Barksdale; mother of his children, Beth Barksdale; several nieces, nephews and extended family & friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 28, 2023 in the Wallis-Stewart Chapel. Burial will be held in the Plowman Cemetery in Apison, Tennessee.
