Wife of John Arthur Allred
Margaret Ruth Allred, age 96, passed away February 21, 1993 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born January 7, 1897 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Leonard Adams and Ellen Wilhelmina Fritz Henderson. She married John A. Allred on November 16, 1932 in Rocky Ford. Colorado. Ruth was a member of the LDS Church and served as a Relief Society president. She was a former member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. After graduating from college she taught in elementary schools in Colorado and New Mexico. She was a leader in the Campfire Girls and devoted many years to genealogical research. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Andrew Russell Henderson and Leonard Louis Henderson. Graveside services will be held Friday, February 26, 1993 at 12 noon in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Friends may call Friday at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 So. 200 East from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
