James H. Backhaus, age 66, of Plymouth passed away unexpectedly at his home early Friday evening, Feb. 22.
He was born on December 5, 1941 in Manitowoc, WI a son of the late Ann Backhaus.
He attended St. Gregory Grade School in St. Nazianz, Richter Grade School in the Town of Plymouth and Plymouth High School.
He has resided and farmed on the family homestead with his family all his life.
Survivors include: one sister: Darlene Frewert of Sheboygan, one brother: Dennis Frewert of Sheboygan. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday evening, (Feb. 27) at 7:00 P.M. at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth. Father Wayne Bittner will officiate. Burial will be at St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, WI.
