Born in Madison Heights, he was a son of Mrs. Amanda Smith Wright of Madison Heights and the late Frank Boggs Wright. He was a retired employe of Mead Corp. He was a member of Naval Lodge No. 4 FAAM of Washington, D. C., and attended Madison Heights Baptist Church.
In addition to his widow and mother, he is survived by four sons, Henry B. Wright of Alexandria, Edgar J. Wright Jr. of Lynchburg, Charles F. Wright of Madison Heights and Richard H. Wright of Alexandria, a daughter, Mrs. Eugene Mills of Madison Heights; one brother, Frank B. Wright Jr. of Lynchburg; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle W. White and Nell Wright of Madison Heights and nine grandchildren.
