The daughter of Joseph and Bridget A. (Keefe) Hancock, Eleanor was three months and 24 days old when she died at the family's residence at 203 Everett in East Boston due to Cholera Infantum, a bacterial infection that was deadly to infants and toddlers when it made its rounds primarily during summer months. The Boston death record verified that Eleanor was interred in the family lot at Forest Hills Cemetery.
