William K. "Bill" Harms
Sheboygan - William K. "Bill" Harms, 96, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Sheboygan Senior Community. Bill was born on December 16, 1925 in Sheboygan to the late Alexander and Esther (Burrow) Harms. Bill graduated from Sheboygan Central High School. He served in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946, and later was proud to have participated in the Honor Flight for Veterans. Bill was united in marriage to Kathleen Pfister at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church on September 30, 1950. He was a member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Bill formed his own band, the Billy Harms Trio, which played for many years in Sheboygan. He was an agent with Prudential Insurance for 22 years, retiring in 1987. He enjoyed many trips to Disney with the love of his life, Kathleen. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers and loved golfing and bowling.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Kathleen; children, Robert Harms; Steven (Sharon) Harms and Andrew Harms; grandchildren, Alex, Ashley, David, and Maximilian; great-grandchild, Nicolai Stinson.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Beatrice Long and Shirley Kletzein and daughter-in-law, Cheryl Harms.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12:00 p.m. at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1439 S. 12th St., Sheboygan on Monday, February 21, 2022 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum with VFW 9156 providing military honors.
