Pruda C. Adams, 100, of Dunbar, passed away July 20, 2004, at Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation in Dunbar.

She was a homemaker and a devout Christian. Mrs. Adams was a member of the Dunbar Church of the Nazarene and had been a resident of Dunbar for 85 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William S. Adams; and her son, William S. Adams Jr.

Surviving are her son, Earl K. Adams and his wife, Opal, of Dunbar; grandchildren, Philip Adams and his wife, Lisa, of Kernersville, N.C., Sally Sloan and her husband, Vernon, of Winfield, Susan Morris and her husband, Steve of Sweetwater, Tenn., Thomas Adams and his wife, Teresa, of Summerville, S.C.; great-grandchildren, Marley and Hunter Adams of Kernersville, N.C., Ryan Boggess of Winfield, Elise and Ben Stephens of Knoxville, Tenn.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar, with the Rev. Philip Bowles officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Memorial Park.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, at Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
