FAIRMOUNT- Vickie B. Kierstead, 59, died Sunday at Marion General Hospital.
She was employed by VA Northern Indiana Health Care System as a building manager. She attended Pilgrim Holiness Church. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, flower gardening, and collecting teddy bears. Her collection consisted of over 200 bears.
She was born February 20, 1947 to the late Burr and Edna (Stanley) Kierstead. She graduated from Fairmount High School in 1966.
She is survived by one sister, Marilyn Kierstead, Fairmount; three aunts, Hazel Watson, Jane (Charles) Maggard and Phyllis (Jimmy) Shammory all of Fairmount.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Friday at Armes-Hunt Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Dewhurst officiating. Interment will be at Park Cemetery in Fairmount.
Arrangements are being handled by Armes-Hunt Funeral Home, 415 S. Main St., Fairmount, where Memorials may be made to Grant County Cancer Services, 305 S. Norton St., Marion.
