James Young Ouellette of Montgomery, Texas passed away suddenly on February 2, 2023 at the age of 68. James was born December11, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to Jane and Armond Ouellette. He was raised in Highland Park, Michigan, Mamaroneck, New York and Spring, Texas, where he met the love of his life Karen Anne Wilkins. They married on April 6, 1974 and lived happily together until his untimely death.

James served in the United States Air Force within a highly classified position, tracking covert ops related to the SR-71 Blackbird.Upon James' Honorable discharge from the Air Force, he and his bride returned to the Houston area to be close to family.

James enjoyed a long career with HL&P.

They welcomed one son into their lives while living on the Wilkins family compound in Spring, Texas until relocating to Hockley, Texas, where they remained until the late 1990's.

James and Karen travelled the country for two years visiting numerous friends, family and taking in our great national parksA constant favorite place for them to take in God's beauty was our nations beaches, where they loved taking their four grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Emily and his nephew Tyson Wilkins.

James leaves behind his wife Karen A. Ouellette, his son Jason James Ouellette and his four grandchildren.
