Rita T. Pritzl, age 80, formerly of Reedsville, died on Friday, July 23, 2010, at West Haven Residence in Brillion.

She was born on March 13, 1930, in Clarks Mills, daughter of the late George and Anna (Milbauer) Meyer. She married Bernard Pritzl on June 19, 1948, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Reedsville. Rita was a member of Holy Family Parish in Brillion and the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 199 of Reedsville for 25 years.

Survivors include her children: Sandi (Larry) Cavanaugh of Brillion; Judy (Bill) Prull of lenbeulah; Dennis (Gail) Pritzl of Two Rivers; Mary (LeRoy) Drewieske of Greenleaf; Lori Gonzales of Manitowoc; Nancy (Jerry) Peterson of Reedsville; and Beth (Dave) Schuh of Reedsville; 27 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a sister, Marion Krager of Naperville, Ill.; a brother, Jerome (Laverne) Meyer of Kiel; a sister-in-law, Verdayne Meyer; and brother in-law, Robert Vallesky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard, on Feb. 20, 2004; a granddaughter, Melissa; a son-in-law, Nick Gonzales; two sisters: Olive Vallesky and Mildred Eickhorst; and a brother, Claude Meyer.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Brillion. The Rev. Matt Simonar will officiate. Entombment will be at Knollwood Mausoleum in Manitowoc. Friends may call at the church on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the time of mass.

The Wieting Funeral Home in Reedsville is assisting the family with arrangements.
