A celebration of life memorial service for Jack Nance "The Bone" Hensley is scheduled for Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Davison officiating. The family will hold a visitation Sunday afternoon from 3 to 6 at the Craddock Funeral Home. Jack was born November 16th 1960 in Ardmore to Jack Hensley and Billie (Nance) Hensley. He passed this life on May 13, 2015 in Ardmore. Jack was a 1979 graduate of Ardmore High School where he was a member of the Football team. As a young boy, Jack became fascinated with the sport of Karate and later studied under "Tornado" Tommy Williams, where Jack earned his 4th degree Black Belt. While still in High School Jack won a Kick Boxing Championship in Kansas City and had his own gym in downtown Ardmore called the "Bone Gym." Later in life Jack took the NFPT examine to become a Personal Trainer and scored the highest score in Oklahoma and the 3rd highest score in the Nation. Jack worked as a Personal Trainer at the YMCA where he was well loved by the staff and clients alike. The YMCA is where he met the love of his life, Candy. He and Candy Moore Thompson were married on October 5, 2012 at the First Baptist Church in Ardmore. The First Baptist Church is where Jack gave his life to the Lord and his relationship with Him remained with him to the end. Jack is survived by his wife, Candy of the Home; son, John Micheal Hensley of Ardmore, stepson Colby Ray Thompson (Who was like a son to Jack) of Fort Drum, NY; Brother, Keith Nance and his wife Jane of Ardmore, Brother in law Christopher Dan Moore of Green River, Wyoming; Mother in law , Charlott Galland, also known as Jack's other Mother. He was preceded in death by his parents, (Big) Jack Hensley and Billie (Nance) Hensley. Memorial Donations can be made to the YMCA weight room in Jack's name, 920 15th Ave. NW Ardmore, Ok. 73401.
