Edison W. Troxel, 76, a resident of the Mulberry Lutheran Home since March 12, 1958, died sudenly Saturday morning, April 28, at the Paul Gable farm, near Mattix Corner, where he was working at the time. Death was apparently due to a heart attack.
Mr. Troxel was born in Clinton county April 16, 1886, to Clinton T. and Elizabeth M. (Heilman) Troxel.
Before entering the Home he had lived in Fankfort where he was employed by the city. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran church Frankfort.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Tina Jenkins of Kentland, and a brother, Uriah S. Troxel of Frankfort.
Funeral services were held on Monday, April 30, at the Lutheran Home with the Rev. Russell Bussabarger officiating. Burial was in the St. Luke cemetery. The Johnson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
