Mary Lou Larson, age 92, a resident of Manitowoc, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 10, 2023.

Mary Lou was born on April 4, 1930 in Valders to the late Earl and Anna (Nejedlo) Mullins. She graduated from Valders High School with the class of 1948 and attended Carrol College. On March 7, 1953,

Mary Lou married Ted Larson in La Jolla, CA. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2019.

Mary Lou helped her husband with the Larson Bus Service for the Valders School District. She worked along her husband as the accountant in Larson Chevrolet, which began in Valders and later moved to Manitowoc.

Mary Lou enjoyed traveling, golf, and volunteered at various organizations in Valders and Manitowoc. She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Manitowoc where she sewed quilts and sang in the choir.

Survivors include Mary Lou's three children, Debra Larson, Manitowoc; Nancy Larson, Manitowoc; and Tom (Barb) Larson, Valders; four grandchildren, Erin (Justin) Strong, CA; Joshua (Brooke) Hack, WV; Andrew (Catherine) Hack, TX; and Kayla (Tim) Niemann, MI; 11 great grandchildren, Malachi, Marina, Elisha and Cora Strong, Larson Hack and Avery Bland, Brady, Leif, and Logan Hack, and Elias and Theoren Niemann; brother-in-law, Ollie Berge, Sun Prairie; sister-in-law, Joanne Mullins, Davenport, IA; also other relatives and friends.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Anna Mullins; husband, Ted; son, Bill Larson; brother, Larry Mullins; and sister-in-law, Jeanne Berge.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 28, 2023 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home. Pastor Andrew Wendle will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. A luncheon will then be held at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home. Cremation has taken place at the Harrigan Parkside Crematory and Chapel. The family will greet relatives and friends at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Friday, April 28, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11 a.m. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.harriganparksidefuneralhome.com
