Josephine was born May 5, 1936 in Hollidaysburg and was the daughter of the late Rev. Paul and Nellie Martin. She graduated from Hershey High School. She was a waitress with the Blue Diner, 76 Truck Stop and retired from Country Pride. She was a member of Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church. She loved her dogs Cooper and especially Sammy.
Josephine was predeceased by her husband Paul K. Carl and daughters and son in laws , Cindy A.(Gilbert) Baker and Suzanne M. (Mark) Wolfe; her step mother Edna Martin and her sisters, Ruth Martin and Lois (Jerald) Swankhouse
Josephine is survived by her daughter, Debra M. (David) Carl-Zerbe; her step-sister, Sue L. Mattioni and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 6 P.M. at the Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church, 175 N. Fairville Ave., Harrisburg.
