Bobbie Faye Ralle, 79, passed away in Las Vegas, Nevada on Monday, February 25, 2008, in the presence of her two sons and two daughters-in-law. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, March 1, 2008, from the High Street Chapel of Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home. Visitation will be between the hours of 5 and 7 pm today and after 1:00 pm Saturday. Interment will follow the service in Lakewood Memorial Park.
Bobbie was born October 14, 1928 the youngest of nine children to Sim Franklin Barfoot and Martha Elizabeth McCraw Barfoot in Edinburg, Mississippi. A long time resident of Jackson she was a member of the Meadowbrook Church of Christ. She graduated from the Baptist School of Nursing in Jackson and retired from River Oaks Hospital as a Registered Nurse. In 2006 she moved to Las Vegas to live with her son due to illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Allen Ralle in 1969.
Survivors include her two sons, Robert Alan Ralle and Jerome Franklin Ralle; her sister, Freddie Hall; her brother, Col. Van T. Barfoot, and her grandson, Hunter Strohm.
