LaVoye Adams, age 83, of Atlanta, Texas, died Monday, October 3, 2011 at her residence.
LaVoye was born July 9, 1928 in Atlanta, Texas. She was retired from Ellington Clinic; was a lifelong resident of Atlanta; a past member of the Atlanta Band Boosters; and the Order of the Eastern Star; and a member of Atlanta Study Club. She was a wonderful and loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Mike Adams; a grandson, Curtis Haggard; brother, Joe D. Callicoatte; and her parents, H. D. and Dane Callicoatte.
She is survived by 3 sons and 1 daughter, grandchildren & great-grandchildren.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
