After 15 years of enduring and fighting carcinoid cancer, LoisAnn Gardner Prichard passed away February 8, 2023, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

She had a passion for trout fishing, especially the streams in the Jemez Mountains, teaching young children, working in Cub Scouts and teaching young boys how to do fun things like gardening – vegetable and flowers – and painting and sketching, often landscapes and scenes with young children.

She is survived by husband, Bruce; daughters: Aimee (Brian), Belva Jean (James), Lila Cathleen (Spencer); sons: Guy (Amanda), Nathan, Thomas; and 15 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by son, Robert.

LoisAnn was born June 13, 1949, in Price, Utah, to Ross and Lila Menzies Gardner, but raised in Los Alamos, New Mexico. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in elementary education and art. As an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served in many different positions.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah.
