Erwin L .Kissinger married Cordia May Samples. He was a postal clerk at the time. A short time later, he went to work for the Collin County National Bank in McKinney, where he remained until his retirement in 1961. He retired from the bank as Executive Vice President. Cordelia died in 1942 of a bronchial infection, after a long illness.
After Cordia's death, Erwin remarried to Marie Clack. He was a very fine person who remained close the family. Two children were born to Erwin and Cordia:
Harold Clayton (1917-1978). Harold worked in commercial art and display advertising. At the time of his death he was working for the Federal Government as an artist in Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
Evelyn Elaine Kissinger was born about 1923. She first married Jab Dowell and lived in Amarillo, Texas. After Jab's death, she married Glen Montgomery of Amarillo. Glen was a Certified Public Accountant. They had one daughter.
