Albert, age 79, died at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Lawrence. He was the son of Alva Bert and Cora Bell Campbell. He graduated from Field Kindley Memorial (Kansas) High School in 1938. He married Betty W. Brown in 1941. He served in the US Navy during World War II on the USS Braxton. He developed multiple sclerosis (MS) in 1965 but continued to work. He is survived by his wife, his children, Bertie, Al Jr. and Margo, six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Masonic services were held at Ford-Wulf-Bruns Edgewood Chapel in Coffeyville. Burial was in the Masonic Garden of Restlawn Cemetery.
