On December 11, 1976 she married the love of her life, Edward Blum. Together they raised three beautiful daughters; Becca, Amy and Rachel. Barb, Ed and daughters spent many wonderful years together on their farm outside Ridgeway. Barb and Ed shared a lifetime in love and lived life to its fullest. Though Barb was proceeded in death by Ed, she never stopped loving and missing him. Her family finds peace in the knowledge that they are together again.
Barb cherished spending time with her girls and adored her grandchildren. She was a loving and wonderful grandmother, she was immensely proud of each of her grandchildren. She treasured her family and friends and delighted in the moments spent together. She lived a carefree and adventurous life, traveling with family and friends. Her last adventures were spent with her best friend, Eunice, traveling together. Always the life of the party, you could find her on the dance floor.
Barb is survived by her daughters; Rebbecca (Don) McKaig of Ridgeway, Amy (Craig) Jansen of Nashotah, Rachel (Adam) Graap of Verona. Her grandchildren; Jack, Charlie and Busy Jansen. Stella and Henry Graap. Numerous brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews and her best friend Eunice Hastings.
Barb was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Blum, her parents and brother in law.
Burial will be held in St. Bridget's Cemetery.
