Deanna L. Gray, 74, of Cochranton, went to be with her Lord, Tuesday, July 1, 2014, at Meadville Medical Center. Born April 13, 1941, in Titusville, she was a daughter of Willard (Jim) and Alma Bly Hipple. She married Earl A. Gray on Jan. 22, 1960, and he survives. She was a 1959 graduate of Cochranton High School and was the librarian at the Cochranton Public Library starting in 1973 and retired in 2007. Deanna attended Cochranton Community Church and was a member of the Women's Club in Cochranton and also a former member of the Cochranton Business and Professional Women's Club. She loved animals, flowers, but most of all reading, which is evident by all the books in her house. Survivors, in addition to her husband of 54 years, include her daughter, Dr. Bonnie Gray and her husband, David, of Vancouver, Canada; several stepbrothers and stepsisters; and her beloved dog, Leonardo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Alma; her stepfather, Norman (Stub) Frost; and her son, Daniel Gray. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be announced and held at a later date. Dickson Family Funeral Home Inc., Cochranton, is in charge of arrangements.
