A native of Caseyville, Ill., he was born July 20, 1929 the son of the late Carl and Alma Jenson Arnold.
He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. He owned and operated Arnold Hardwood Flooring and was also a Snap-On Tool representative. He was a member of the United Church of Christ and the American Legion Post, both in Illinois.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, LaVerna F. Arnold, Hopkinsville; his son, Brian (Jennifer) Arnold, Hopkinsville; three grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

Committal services and interment for Fred Allen and his wife, LaVerna Fay, will be held at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West on Friday, March 17, 2022, at 2:00 P.M.
