Glenn Samuel Tehauno, 70, of Fletcher Oklahoma passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Glenn was born on October 15, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Samuel and Naomi (Connywerdy) Tehauno. Sam and Naomi married in February 1939 at the Little Washita Methodist Church NE of Fletcher, Oklahoma and welcomed four children, Glenn being the third. He attended and graduated from Mount Saint Mary's high school in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. In October of 1972 Glenn decided to serve his country and joined the United States Air Force where he served for four years. Including one year and sixteen days overseas. He completed his Obligation in October of 1976 where he earned the rank of E-4 (Sgt). Glenn went on to work in security at Oklahoma Gas & Electric (OG&E) for 25 years. He was a proud full blooded Comanche tribal member and a direct descendent of Comanche Chief Ten Bears (Paruasemena). Glenn became an excellent photographer over the years and loved fishing and cheering on his favorite team, the Texas Rangers and he was an avid Gun collector.

Glenn was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Tehauno and Naomi Tehauno, brothers Charles Rueben Tehauno and Terry Neil Tehauno, maternal grandparents Charles and Julia Connywerdy Wahnee paternal grandmother Thurma Cau Cau Tehauno and nephews Christopher Samuel Moreno and William Franklin Riggs. He is survived by his sister, Wilma Tehauno Riggs, nieces Mari Beth Lodes and Lisa Tehauno and Nephews Charles Reuben Tehauno II (Chip) and Earl Moreno Jr. And In addition, adopted daughter Heather McConnell and grandson Cole. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
