HILLSBORO (SPL)--Funeral services for Mrs. Winnie Ann Downing, 69, of Hillsboro were held at 2 p.m. today in Marshall and Marshall Chapel, Rev. J.W. Bruner officiating, burial in Dawson Cemetery.
Mrs. Downing died at 3 a.m. Wednesday in a Hillboro hospital.
Mrs. Downing was born in Ellis County, but had lived in Navarro County most of her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the widow of J.E. Downing.
Survivors are four brothers, Dave Johnson and Ruel Johnson, both of Fort Worth, Harvey Johnson and Cornwell Johnson, both of Covington; three sisters, Mrs. W.N. Beard of Grandview, Mrs R.S. Bryan of Houston, Miss Lela Johnson of Hillsboro.
