She married Bruce Driskell MAYO on October 10, 1914, in Culver, Ottawa, Kansas. They had three children during their marriage, Leonard Eugene Mayo, Helen Maxine Mayo (Graves), Bruce Driskell Mayo JR. She died on June 14, 1984, in Salina, Saline, Kansas, at the age of 86, and was buried in Franklin Cemetery in Tescott, Ottawa, Kansas.
