BANGOR, PA. -- Mark T. Resch died on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2008, at the VNA Hospice in East Stroudsburg, Pa. He was 46.
Resch was born in Morristown on May 25, 1962, the son of Joseph R. and Martha J. Christensen Resch of Long Valley, and lived most of his life in Long Valley.
He was last employed as an attendant at the Fairmount Sunoco in Fairmount.
He is survived by his ex-wife Kim Resch Daley, two daughters, Candice and Nikki Resch, and a son Justin Resch, all of Bangor, Pa.; four brothers Joseph C. (Karen) of Bangor, Glenn C. Resch (Patrina) of Hackettstown, Brian Resch (Diane) of Belvidere, Timothy S. Resch of High Bridge; one sister Jenny (Edward) Belenger of Long Valley; grandson Cillian and several nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by sister Robin Resch and brother Kirk Resch.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Dec. 7 at 12:30 p.m. in the Fairmount Presbyterian Church, 247 Old Turnpike Road, in Califon, followed by a reception at the Fairmount Firehouse.
Interment was private.
Memorial donations may be sent to VNA Hospice of Monroe County, 412 E. Brown St., East Stroudsburg, Pa. 18301, or the American Cancer Society.
