Leonie was born on April 1st, 1996 in Bayreuth. 4 weeks before her 21st birthday she died only a few hours after a serious traffic accident on her last day of vacation in The Hague. The accident driver had overtaken risky on a wet road in the rain. Her car veered off course, overturned, reversed direction and landed on a downtown pedestrian island. Her car hit 3 people. Leonie died a few hours later, before her sister or mother could be with her. The driver of the accident was discharged unharmed the same evening.

She studied interior design for 2 semesters before moving to Konstanz to study communication design. She spent a lot of time painting, sketching, drawing and borrowing quality cameras to take good pictures. Designing a layout or staging something, whether material or ideal, gave her great pleasure. Her last project at the Konstanz University of Applied Sciences was the "everyday hero" - the motivation. She thought about how she could use small things and activities to get people to enjoy life more consciously. She took the elements of earth, fire, water and air and translated them into text, shape and task. The people she surrounded herself with loved her calm, friendly and approachable manner. She loved to travel wherever, whether far or near. Strolling through art museums together, scooping up the milk foam from my cappucino or philosophizing about everything and everything was part of their lives.
