Fr. Brent Smith, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne will be officiating for the services. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Ann was born on March 10, 1939, in Iota and raised in Jennings by her loving parents, Edward and Dora Daigle. She graduated from St. Francis Catholic School. In 1957, she married the love of her life, John Essie Foreman. Ann was employed by First National Bank of Crowley for many years. In December 2022, Ann and JE celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with family and friends.
Ann was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was affectionately known as Maw Maw Ann to her eleven grandchildren. She treasured her family and was so dedicated in caring for her elderly parents and in-laws, with compassion, patience and love. Ann was deeply devoted to her Catholic faith and served as an adoration adorer. She had a devotion of daily prayers for the Holy Souls in purgatory.
Ann was well travelled. She especially loved summer road trips to California to visit her sisters. She often reminisced on all the adventures along the way with her young children. Ann traveled all over the United States to visit her grandchildren. Most of all, she enjoyed vacationing with them. Her favorite trips were to Alaska, Disneyworld and numerous beach trips.
Ann found much joy in cooking and baking. She took pride in hosting holiday gatherings and making special memories. The presentation of her dishes were always impressive. She loved preparing favorite dishes for each of her guest.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years John Essie "JE" Foreman of Crowley; four children, Mark Allan Foreman and his wife Gail of Bloomington, MN, Keith David Foreman and his wife Dayna of Rockwall, TX, John Eric Foreman and his wife Bonnie of Crowley, and Susan Foreman Power and her husband Kevin of Mandeville, LA; ten grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Dora LeJeune Daigle; three sisters, Nelwyn Daigle, Joanne Kalsow, and Geneva Peet and her husband Raymond; and one grandson, Brandon Patrick Power.
