Burial will be in Huntsville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Fann, who died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Decatur General Hospital, was born March 15, 1926, in Madison County to Dozier Bragg Graham and Ravie Ella Ferrell Graham. She was a member of Flint Church of Christ, and was retired from Redstone Arsenal. She and her husband, "Blue," traveled extensively throughout the United States after retirement. She enjoyed reminiscing of those "good old days" with anyone who expressed an interest. Mrs. Fann loved her family and friends. Her grandchildren will surely miss their Maw Maw. Her husband, William Boyd Fann, preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Jeanne Newsom (Ottie), and Betty Cheatham (Michael), both of Hartselle, Martha Green (Don) of Somerville, and Debbie Cook (Rick), of Arab; one sister, Freddie Adams of Elberta; eight grandchildren, Todd Newsom, Melanie Wallace, Donnie Green, Dana Brown, Brandon Stutts, Ashley Stutts, Chuck Long and Chad Long; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Todd Newsom, Brandon Stutts, Ashley Stutts, Donnie Green, Chad Long, Chuck Long, David Wallace and Tommy Brown.
Special thanks to Mary Amerson, Shelley Jones, Darlene Troutman, Martha Barber and Christy Boyd for the wonderful care they gave to our mother and grandmother.
