He is survived by his father, Lon Burgess of Charenton; mother, Allison Simoneaux Coleman of Orange, Texas; two brothers, Marty Burgess of Franklin, and Jessie Burgess of New Iberia; two sisters, Sara and Megan Coleman, both of Orange, Texas; three nephews, James Meyer of Franklin, Cameryn Burgess of Franklin, and Ravyn Burgess of New Iberia; and two nieces, Meghan Baham and Chenoa Burgess, both of Franklin.
Visiting hours will be observed Friday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at Ibert's Mortuary. The mortuary will reopen Saturday at 8 a.m. until time of services.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ibert's. Entombment will follow in Chitimacha Mausoleum in Charenton.
